Functional Design Needs: Increase natural light; maximize use of space using current furniture; create a work space for school

Functional Design Changes: The furniture layout was modified in order to open up access to the window and allow maximum natural light into the room. One of the two dressers was moved into the closet, maintaining storage capacity, but opening up floor space to create a desk corner. The corner desk introduced a new function to the room– as a young student, this desk space will provide years of purpose for schoolwork and creating.
