The interior design process doesn’t have to be intimidating. As a client of Hurleyhouse Design, you will receive a professional design experience that is both honest and transparent from the very beginning. Whether you’re looking for design inspiration and ideas, or are wanting a full renovation, Hurleyhouse Design will collaborate with you every step of your unique design journey.

Single Space or Room

Your design consultation can be done either in-person or virtually— a great option for someone who isn’t local. The consultation includes three components:

 

Functional Assessment of Your Space: Prior to your appointment, you will be sent a survey that will guide you to reflect on how your space is currently working (or not working) to support your lifestyle. Then at your appointment, we will go a step further and look at other aspects of function including lighting, traffic flow, desired use of space, storage, and more.

 

Interior Design Style Analysis: There are many different design styles when it comes to interiors, but what is YOUR unique style? Through a combination of conversation, guided surveys, and examples, we will determine where you fall on the modern-traditional spectrum. From there, we will go a step further in determining which specific styles, and their characteristic components, harmonize together to establish your own unique interior design style.

 

Mood Board: After your consultation, you will receive a mood board created specifically for your space, taking into account all the information gathered from the consultation.  The mood board will include designer-suggested style elements for your space, in a visually appealing layout, with detailed captions describing how each element supports your space’s function and style needs.
